Terms of Use

Last updated: 31 July 2026

These terms cover your use of the NVRblink website (nvrblink.co.uk) and the NVRblink desktop application (together, “NVRblink”). By using either, you agree to the terms below. This is a plain-language summary, not a substitute for legal advice.

1. Pre-release software

NVRblink is under active development and is provided as pre-release, early-access software. Features, behaviour, and availability may change without notice, and the application may contain bugs. It is not recommended as your sole means of security monitoring for critical or life-safety purposes.

2. Your responsibility

You're responsible for the cameras you connect to NVRblink, for having the right to access and record from them, and for complying with any laws that apply to video recording and surveillance in your location — including, where relevant, notifying people who may be recorded. You're also responsible for securing the Windows machine NVRblink runs on and for choosing strong account passwords.

3. No warranty

NVRblink is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. Video loss, missed recordings, or downtime can happen — don't rely on NVRblink as your only backup of important footage.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NVRblink and its developer(s) aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software or website, including loss of footage or data.

5. Remote access feature

NVRblink's optional remote-viewing feature is off by default. If you enable it and expose it to the internet (for example, via router port-forwarding), that configuration — and its security — is your responsibility.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as NVRblink develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
