Fair Usage Policy
Last updated: 28 September 2026
How storage and platform request limits work on the partner portal, and what we expect from every partner using it.
1. Why we have this policy
This policy exists to keep the partner portal fast and reliable for every partner using it - not to police normal, everyday use. If you're running your business through NVRblink in the way it's meant to be used, this policy won't affect you.
2. Storage
The partner portal stores reasonable amounts of your own business records - job photos, forms, signatures, and similar documents your team generates through normal use. There's no small fixed cap designed to catch a normal business out.
If a single account's usage becomes genuinely unusual compared to normal partner activity, we'll talk to you about it directly rather than silently restricting or deleting anything.
3. Platform and API requests
Rate limits already apply across the platform's login and API endpoints, mainly as protection against automated abuse (credential-stuffing, scraping, and similar). Normal use of the portal, the mobile apps, or a Hub checking in never comes close to them.
See Security for more on how the platform is protected generally.
4. What's not allowed
The full list is in our Terms of Use; in short, don't try to break into, overload, or scrape our systems, don't share a licence between sites, and don't resell access to the Services except as an NVRblink partner.
5. If usage becomes a problem
We'll contact you first. Suspending an account over usage is a last resort, used only where there's a genuine, ongoing problem and we haven't been able to resolve it by talking to you.
